What are the options for travelling to Punta del Este Uruguay from Buenos Aires, Argentina? Argentina is an excelent place to know... stay there if you can... i miss it... 1) try Buquebus.. which is by ship... the old ones take about 3hs.. but are really fun and confortable. The new ones about 1 hr but is is more expensive. http://www.buquebus.com/BQBWeb/servlet/c... you can take a ferry (Buquebus) to colonia, and from there in car or bus to Punta del Este. the most popular option seemed to be the ship over to colonia. all the backpackers that were headed to punta del este did so by ship. plus you get to check out colonia, which is a pretty cool small town. |
