How long would you reckon to stay in buenos aires, when i visit in february ??

Im starting my year long trip of the globe, in buenos aires, just wondering how long should i stay, il be there on 10th february, what are the beachs like niteclubs treking ??.

Great to hear you are visiting my country!!!
I agree with what Matteo said about Ushuaia, but it is far away from BA if you are just coming to Argentina for a few days.
Mar del Plata isn't the nearest beach, but it is the best city in the coast...at least for turists...but you can also visit Pinamar or Villa Gesell (where there are a lot of young people in summer...these are the 2 most cool areas)...and there is a place called Carilo which is extremely beautiful!
The beaches are 400 - 500 km away from BA's downtown, though it is in the same province.
Near the city you cannot miss going to Tigre, there you have mini-trips in boats though the river!...just an advice if you go: take something (i don't know the word in english, but in spanish it is "repelente") to kill flies (mosquitoes) as there are a lot in Tigre, specially in summer (now).
I'll give you my e-mail address, and if you want i can take you to some places when you come, or i can recomend you somewhwere to go: eidan_y@yahoo.com.ar
Thanx for choosing my country and my town to come!

the closest beach town near buenos aires is mar del plata , about 400 km away.. totally cool right now, which is the summer time.

In buenos aires go to palermo soho area, for cool people, great shops, and bars...

more elegant try Recoleta area...
Buenos Aires has a lot to do and see at least 6 days needed

If you have extra days go to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world.. AWESOME views, landscape .. people.. make sure you take a sweater.. it is always cold there!!!

happy travels...

yess there are!! for nightclubs, id reccoment going on florida street and around there to start scoping them out. as for the beaches, none around buenos aires, but definitely down the coast.

you should definitely head to pinimar for the beach
