Desire down in Los Cabos?

OK were planning on a vacation next winter going down to the resort "Desire" at Los Cabos, or just going to the one in Cancon. We are wondering if you have gone or know somebody that has taken thier vacation at either of these places?

If so was it a good time?

I have met a few people who have stayed at Desire in Cabo.

There wasn't as much nudity as they thought, as well as not as much swinging activities. The people varied, some were older than they expected, some didn't seem to know what the "theme" of the resort was until they got there! All agreed that it would be more fun if they stayed when there were various conventions booked there.

They also have a hard time hiring staff and keeping them. I guess Mexicans are a little more modest and don't agree with this lifestyle.

Overall, it seems pretty laid back and boring. Not swinging from the chandeliers as you might think. I've also heard the food isn't very good, service adequate and rooms moderate.

I've never been there but I always check out tripadvisor.com for any hotel that I am going to stay at. The site is full of traveler reviews of just about any hotel, anywhere! You can also see pictures that travelers have taken at the hotel. I like this feature because hotels often make their brochure and website photos look way better than the real thing.
