Has anyone ever stayed at the Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico?

If so - how was it? How was the food, weather, people, all inclusive stuff.....I'm going the first week in May.
Thanks!

Hola. Both the Riu Palace and the smaller more newer Riu Sante Fe next door are perfect for the all inclusive holiday in Cabo.

First off, both resorts are very close to downtown, popular beaches, marina....meaning you can get around without relying on transport pretty easily. Second, since these are both 5 star resorts, you can expect great food and great rooms. The downside is that because it is a very large all-inclusive you can expect to be treated more like cattle, not individuals. That is how it is with so many big resorts...sorry. If you want individual pampered attention consider the more smaller hotels.

Weather in Cabo around May starts to get pretty hot during the day -- but stays dry and warm at night.

Most of the "people" in Cabo are transient. They have migrated from Sinaloa or other places on the mainland....and they are here strictly to work in the tourist industry. Gone are the days of meeting happy friendly locals that treat you like one of the family. Now, most of your friendly interactions with Mexicans will end up with a time share speech.

Cabo is a resort town, catering to young adventure minded people. You will find lots of activities and things to do while in Cabo. Enjoy your holiday. Cabo is gorgous.

I was there in Oct. we had to stay there by accident our hotel in town the Tesoro was overbooked which I was not happy about since my husband was there to be in walking distance from downtown any way we stay there two days it was allot nicer then The Teodoro if you visit tripadvisor.com you can view tourist photos. We booked a trip in Oct again we staying a Riu in Cabo Sante fe is next door but they have smaller rooms. You will have a great time!!

it is the best..YOU WILL LOVE IT!
