Why did Chile fight with Argentina years ago?

Is this part of the war of the Pacific or another war? I need info for a project.

The war of the Pacific was between Peru, Chile and Bolivia. The war between Chile and Argentina was about the Beagle channel, bot countries wanted the islands in between, right near the Antartica and the rights to the Beagle channel. It is still a sore issue amongst them.
