Who is better argentina or chile?

Who is better argentina or chile?

No way I can ever decide which is is better!! I have been 7 times to Argentina and 7 to Chile and both have excellent things and also some negative things.
It all depends on what criteria are you basing your question so here I give you some of my criteria:
-Food: Argentina
-Clothes: Argentina
-Education: Chile
-Historical landmarks: Argentina
-Economic growth: Chile
-Natural landscapes: a tie!!!! Patagonia (in both countries is the best!)
- Place to raise your kids: Chile

It's difficult to compare and assess both countries. However, nowadays Argentina is suffering through an economic crisis which is leading to lots of problems with the people living there. I would chose Chile now, basing my choice in the economic growth and the amount of exports they have.

Hi Alguien: I am a teacher and have recently come from Mexico where there was an International congress of Education. Chile was highly rated (better than Argentina sorry!) due to the fact that the IB programme has been successfully installed in public schools (only Chile does so!). Elementary and High School public education is the best in Chile. I am not Chilean, and I have seen statistics in this congress that's why I have said that the education in Chile is better. I dont know about University level, I can vouch for elementary and high school and Chile is definetly better due to the results presented in this congress.

Alguien II;
You're right! This is not a competition between Chile and Argentina. Nevertheless, both countries are way ahead the rest of south america in education!!!! They are the leading in education at the moment (third is Mexico) and while we can argue forever which is best; the best thing about it is that the people from both these countries are getting better education each time so I'll call it a tie! What do you think? Truce? It's a tie then!

CHILE.

all the freaking wayyy.
:P

ARGENTINA!!!!!!!!!!!

BUENOS AIRES ITs THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm from Argentina... but I don't like this question... no country is "better" than the other.

Luckily, we seem to have completely recovered from our 2002 economic crisis thanks to four years of 9% growth rates, and we still remain the most developed nation in Latin America. (According to the United Nations, at least)

But yeah, Chile is a wonderful country as well, and life is not much different here or there.

Argentina has a higher literacy rate than Chile and a higher university attendance... we have better education =b

Interesting info...
I was just basing myself in UN statistics...

Argentina has a 97.5% literacy rate while Chile has a 95.7%, and we also have a higher enrollment ratio (a higher percentage of kids going to school and college), and five nobel prizes.
Seems to me like Argentine education reaches a greater proportion of the population.

Anyway, I don't want to turn this into a competition... this goes to show both countries are very comparable.

I am from Argentina, and obviously I will say it is better than Chile.
In Chile you only have the city of Santiago, in Argentina you have more places to visit.
I conside Chilean people to be obnoxious, but it's only my opinion.
If you are planning to come, you can go to Chile, cross the mountain and visit Argentina as well, or the other way round, and then tell us which you preferred.
