What are the different flight options for traveling from Chicago to Santiago, Chile? |
I'd like to know if there are any airlines that fly directly and from the US generally. Yes, there are direct flights. When I went, I had a direct flight from Atlanta, GA to Santiago on Delta. Santiago is a HUGE city and the airport is really big, lots of flights coming and going all the time, so there are probably plenty of options for a direct flight on different airlines. Going from the US to South America in general you'll probably need to go through either Atlanta or Miami, but from there you should be able to go directly to Santiago. Yes. I have flown Delta from Atlanta. Otherwise, I believe American flies from both Miami & LA. Continental from Houston. They probably dont have direct flights from Chicago to Santiago... but when traveling to South America the main U.S. hubs are Miami and Atlanta... American and Delta fly out of there... Other places that will have direct flights to anywhere and everywhere is New York... most national airlines have flights to New York from major cities like Santiago. LAN Chile flies to JFK. American also has an overnight flight from Dallas. |
