Where in Chile is the "Lake of the Incas"? |
This website promoting Chilean tourism talks about a "Lake of the Incas" and the legends surrounding it. It is located about 100 miles North-East of Santiago in the Valpara铆so region in the Los Andes municipality. It is near the Argentine/Chilean border and the Portillo Ski Resort was built around the lake. I have never been there but from the looks of the picture, it looks amazing.
