Is there anyone out there who lives in Dalian? after living here six months?

I still don't know much about it? Can anyone help me learn more?

My relatives live there.

It's in the LiaoNing province, around 12,600 km虏 big, it's 29 m above sea level. Around 6 million people live in the city area. It's the second largest in the LiaoNing province. It's hot and humid in the summer, and has cold and chilly winters. In the summer, its around 6掳 C, while summer temperatures are around 27掳C.

People speak Jiao Liao Mandarin here. Also, they speak more harshly than the traditional Beijing accent. Lolss, they kind of seem like they're mad at you when they're speaking, when really, they are not.

THEY LOVE SOCCER! (zu qiu)
Da Lian Shide (澶ц繛瀹炲痉) is their professional city team. They used to be Dalian Wanda (澶ц繛涓囪揪). They've had this team for 9 nice and successful years already.

They have fireworks on Chinese holidays. And they have the Dalian World Expo Center, the Dalian Walking Day, the Dalian Flower Festival, the Dalian Marathon, the Beer fest, the Dalian Fashion week, etc...

They have the best seafood, oh my goodness. Their fruits are super sweet too!

Most people are Taoists, Buddhists, Catholics, Protestants and Islamic.

They have 11 universities.

It's the model-city, since 1994. One of the most tourist-y areas yet! It's superrrrr clean!
It's constantly ranked grade 2 for air pollution.

There are a lot of ports here, like shipping import/export companies. My father's company is there.

Hope I helped!! (:
