Apply china visa from Taipei?

Hi,
I am Indonesian but living in Taipei, Taiwan. Next May I would like to go to Seminar at Hong Kong for one week.
Should I apply visa for that ? If so where is the place that I can apply visa ?

Thanks in advance

Aini

You do NOT need a visa for HK with your ID passport. You can stay for 30 days free in Hong Kong.

The link below is the official immigration department website and that info is 100% correct.

If you need a visa for Mainland China you can apply that in many HK travel agencies.

it no matter

If you have a passport issued by Indonesia, you have a 30-day visa free period in HK. In other cases, nationals from Taiwan need to apply for an entry permit, which is easier and quicker to get than a visa.
