How is Cedar Point on opening day?

We are! We're going to go on opening day, which is May 10. Now, we've made a tradition out of going on the very last day,and it's always in the 40's in October, with a freakishly cold wind blowing in off the lake, but it keeps the crowds down. But we've never gone on opening day. Will it be an absolute mad-house? Or will it be dead? Or somewhere in between? And what about the weather? Hopefully in the 50's? Thanks to all who post!

Its absolutely packed on opening day. You'll wait much longer than most other days of the year, and way longer than you would wait on the last day, when its cold outside. I personally wont do opening days anymore.

Cedar Point is the best!
I am 13 and have been there.
It is busy on opening day.
Trust me.
But after a while it's not as packed
but still kinda packed
