Cheap garages to park in downtown cleveland?

I'm getting a jew job in downtown cleveland, ohio in a couple weeks and they've already told me the garage attached to their building charges 10 dollars a day or 150+ a month and I really don't want to pay that much just for parking. Does anyone know where a good place to park around 1300 east 9th street and st. clair?

It should not take you long to find a garage or parking lot on your own. Maybe on your first day you should go ahead and park in the garage attached to the building, ask some co-coworkers where they normally park and even scope out the streets around the building (maybe Rockwell Ave.?) for good parking the next day.

Your building is in the Financial/Erieview District part of downtown. I'm more familiar with parking in the Gateway and Warehouse Districts in downtown. However, I think you may want to park in either the Lakefront Municipal Parking Lot or the Chester Parking Lot http://www.city.cleveland.oh.us/governme...

Another option all together is to buy a monthly RTA pass for less than $70, park for free at an Rapid stop or Park-N-Ride outside of downtown, and let RTA drive you into work. Your buidling is just a block away from the Northcoast Harbor Rapid Station. http://www.jointheride.com/.

Tower City's parking garage?

That's tough- E. 9th has most of the jobs, thus, most of the parking, so it tends to be the most expensive downtown area to park. FORTUNATELY, the Cleveland downtown isn't that sprawling and you can walk around fairly easily (although that can suck in the winter when its snowing with a windchill of negative 5!)

I would recommend checking out some lots a block or two EAST of E. 9th There's quite a few surface lots along E. 12th street (possibly even E 14th) that will be significantly cheaper. My dad works at E. 9th and St Clair (there's a coincidence) and he parks off of E. 12th somewhere.

You'll save money by getting a monthly pass, which will also be less hassle.

Good luck!

i work at 9th and euclid. with the construction on euclid and elsewhere it has become very hard to get around sometimes. You have to get a monthly pass, otherwise you might get bumped out of your usual lot on busy days like st. patricks or opening day for baseball, or else the lot that charged you 7.50 all day now wants 20 and they'll get it too.
