When are the summer shopping sales in Cologne around August - September time - we want to plan a shopping trip

Guessing they will be around August/September time, however would like to find out the actual dates so that we can pick up some bargains!

By some new law that has been passed by the German government there are no more official summer or winter sales.

However the big department stores do have their own sales at the end of the season.

Try these links:

http://www.cunda.de/ =this is C&A Germany

http://www.karstadt.de/

These are large stores, at the time that they start their sales others will follow suit.

Staff there should be able to speak English.
