Work and live in Spain or Visit and work in UK?

My partner and I decided to move to Spain. I am an IT trainer & I have a little Spanish. My partner is in admin & has convers Spanish. Is it difficult 2 get work in Spain (Costa Blanca)? I have come back 2 the UK in the meantime to make some money. Everything I have read or heard seems 2 b neg, esp with an influx of East europeans and South Americans? Anyone help?

East european, north african and south american immigrants are in majority, usually hand labourers. They should not affect your field at all... one thing though, the spanish salaries are much lower than those in the UK... check that out before making your final decision.
One thing think of your heating expenses, the cost of winter clothes, etc. ...add them up and see if they balance the lower salaries enough to make it worth your while!
