Has anybody been to Gandia, Valencia?

What is it like there?

I lived near there for a few months while on working on a house out there. Its beautiful, few ex pats but mostly spanish (which is rare these days) Nice beaches, bars etc. Not too expensive and not thousands of tourists.............well it was like that 3 years back.

It's pretty much as the guy above said, still today. I live nearby and do a lot of my shopping there because it's the best place for that along this part of the coast.

It is very nice but as it has not been developed for tourism it is a quite a bit run down looking in many parts. It is very Spanish still but the Brits Germans and Dutch are slowly working their way towards it as places near it get more expensive.

Hope you enjoy
