High part of the city?

What does "High part of the city" refer to? Does it mean central district of the city?

More information:It is in an article describing Barcelona,Spain. The whole sentence is "We now go to the high part of the city, the Salut distnct, at the end of Travesera de Dait, to visit Parque Guel."

Your question is not very clear...That I know of, Valencia does not have any "high or low" parts of the city.
If you are referring to another place please add the reference to your question.
Sorry I can't give you a better answer with the info you have provided...

NOW your question makes sense... You meant Barcelona not Valencia...
Yes, in Barcelona there are several hilly areas... And the "high part of the city" is that area around the Parc G眉ell and Parc Guinard贸 which is on one of the hills.
This is not the central district of the city, though it is not too far from it.
The central part of Barcelona is the area around "Las Ramblas", Paseo de Gracia, Plaza de Catalu帽a, etc.
And then again there is Montjuic, in southern Barcelona, near the ports, which is also on a hill.
P.S. Barcelona is not in the Comunidad Valenciana, it's in Catalunya...
:-)

i love Valencia.
