Cork has the largest coastline does that mean we have........? |
the best tourist attractions in Ireland also? You could have, and not necessarily near the coast. I'm thinking of the village of Liscarroll in North County Cork, not far from Mallow, which has the most amazing Norman castle in it, but nobody outside of the area even knows about it. The only thing Liscarroll is famous for is its Donkey Sanctuary (no slur intended as this is a good thing, too many of these animals suffer horrific treatment and there they are all looked after, so we do support the organisation) but the area is really pretty. Well Cork does have a lot to offer. I think in the Summer time it is beautiful however I wouldn't fancy going to a beach in the winter time. lol Being a Corkman I'd like to say that we have the best tourist attractions but it pains me to say that Kerry probably outranks us in that department. I don't think so, most of stuff people want to see because there's nothing else like that where they come from are in in the West and the North. |
