Yes you can get a refund but the amount depends on (1) how close you are to the sail date, and (2) whether you have trip/travel insurance for your cruise.

Every cruise line has a schedule for granting refunds and generally you can get a full refund if you cancel between 60 and 75 days before the cruise, depending upon the length and cruise line. So if your cruise is, for example, 90 days away you can get a full refund. If its 45 days away the refund schedule may refund all except your deposit. If its just a week or a few days before the cruise then you may get about 25% back, again depending upon the cruise line.

Now if you have travel insurance, you can get a full refund any time if your travel insurance policy covers the incident which prompted you to cancel.
