What's a good place to jog in Dallas TX?

In Dallas proper ...the Katy Trail...it is quite nice...about three miles in one direction....at one time it was a railroad right of way...but, the city has paved it, and put park benches, lighting, etc.... It runs through the heart of the city, near Knox Henderson, Highland Park, Turtle Creek etc....it is heavily used in the early evenings and weekends. There recently has been some crime there after dark...so, I would not go there at night when by yourself.

Also, White Rock Lake is great...I believe it is around 9 miles completely around the lake...

Addison has a nice jogging trail through the residential section as well...just off of Midway and Betlway road....it goes around a duck pond, and in the public greenways.

My favorite is the grounds of the Cooper Institute, 12330 Preston Road Dallas, TX 75230. They have a 1 mile jogging track that's actually padded. Beautiful grounds with large trees and a duck pond. The Cooper Institute was founded by Dr. Kenneth Cooper, who coined the term "aerobics" in the 1960s. http://www.cooperinst.org/index.cfm
