How far is kakadu from sydney?? |
could some one tell me how far it is from sydney to kakadu?? it is 3,987.13kms which will take you 5 days to drive safely (with proper amount of breaks). A very long way! I don't know the exact distance, but Sydney to Darwin is 4,100km, so it would be similar to that, it is about a third longer than the distance from London to Moscow.... It would take about 48 hours straight up the middle of Australia if you drove there without stopping. It's approximately 4000 kms. ~2950 km direct, not by road. |

I have done the drive both ways and prefer going through South Australia. The roads are better, there is more to and lots of nice places to stop on the way. Just watch out for cattle, kangaroos an... It was quite interesting but I'm not crazy... try: ... get a bus - greyhound or one of the many other backpacker tour buses that there are. You don't need to book any transport until you get out there. When you check in your first hostel you... Take it from an Aussie - all you need to do is dial 0061 then the mobile number (drop the 0 at the start of the number though) ...It changes but mostly it's blue. If it's choppy, it can be a sort of murky grey but mostly, in my memory, (I grew up there) it was a deep, beautiful blue. I'm told that the visibi... It's about 3000KM by car (less as the crow flies). That's a couple of days. The drive is pretty boring. You could get a bus from Brisbane but I would suggest flying. Flights start about $... |
