Whats a Darwin Award?

It's a fake award for the person who did the most for the quality of the human gene pool by accidentally killing themself in the stupidest way.
Like the guy who crawled under his moving pick-up truck to see if the drive shaft was working. Turns out, yes it was and his clothing got caught in it and he was torn to shreds.
Most of the Darwin awards are urban ledgends but hilarious none the less.

A Darwin Award is a tongue-in-cheek "honor" given to people who supposedly improve the human gene pool as part of the natural-selection process by accidentally killing or sterilizing themselves during a foolish or careless mistake.

That/s an "award" for someone who did something really stupid. To sum it up; Darwin's Honors those who improve the species by accidentally removing themselves from it,...
thereby ensuring that the next generation is one idiot smarter.

A Darwin award is an award givin to people who died doing stupid things, it was named after Charles Darwin and his theory of survival of the strongest.

the Darwin awards celebrate evolution in action. Like the guy that dies when he leaves the wheel of his RV to go take a nap. That's survival of the fittest in action. That guy deserves a Darwin Award.

Awards for truly stupid behaviour, behaviour that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the person who is so behaving deserves to be "naturally selected" out of the gene pool, preferably by means of self-inflicted accidental death (i.e. death by stupidity), before they have a chance to reproduce.

Basically, a Darwin award is given to people who are killed doing really stupid things (i.e. climbing out on a branch overhanging a cliff and falling out of the tree). It stems from Darwin's theory of evolution and survival of the fittest. In other words, people who are too stupid to stay alive win Darwin Awards. It's actually pretty cruel.
