I want to go to Darwin (Australia), can yo give me some information, please?

I am Spanish and I will travel the first time to Australia, but only to Darwin for 10 days. Thanks!

If you are in Darwin for 10 days try to get to Kakadu national park (3hrs drive from Darwin)- which has some spectacular scenery - including ancient aboriginal rock art. While you are at kakadu do the "yellow waters" cruise which will show you some spectacular bird life and crcodiles.
Katherine Gorge (in Nitmuluk national park) is also 3 hrs drive away and is also awesome.
Litchfield park has some amazing waterfalls and rockholes and is about one and a half hours drive from Darwin.
A flight to the Tiwi Islands is also interesting - they are fully aboriginally owned and they have both great natural wonders and they are fantastic artists - particularly their own pukamani poles (used at funerals) and it is a terrific look at a aboriginal culture.
If you come during the "dry season" (May to September) make sure you go to the Mindil Beach sunset markets and sample some of the incredible variety of asian foods.
Most of all enjoy your time here.

While your in Darwin, you must take drive to Berry Springs for a day of fun.

Its 47 km south of Darwin and about 45 min drive.
Berry Creek begins as a series of springs and then forms a small creek that reaches Darwin Harbour through a mangrove lined estuary.

The water is warm and inviting so take your swimmers. There is this small beautiful waterfall that you swim over to, then get in behind it. The waterfall makes millions of tiny bubbles so its like being in a spa.

Then you continue to swim down the spring to and large pool. The place is really beautiful.

Hire yourself a Mini Moke car. Go to the supermarket and buy food for a BBQ lunch or take a cooked chicken a bit of salad and French stick bread plus a bottle of white wine.

If you go there you will have a great day.

The other thing to remember is to buy is a Darwin Stubby Beer, to take home as a Souvenir. If you haven't seen one before you must take a look for yourself. They are the biggest Stubbie in the world.
