What's changed about Delhi?

Its been 12 years since i've been to Delhi, can anyone update me as to what has changed, culturely, food, architecture, language, and just stuff in general.

A lot has changed since 12 years. The Metro has come about. There are more Departmental Stores and eating outlets. There are more educational centers. The areas around Delhi have changed like Gurgaon and Noida which have become very developed in many ways. There is more traffic, though. Air is a bit cleaner due to CNG. People have become a bit sensible and there are more power cuts and erratic water supply in some ares. Rest all hasn't changed much.

i think the climate has changed...& of course the metro traffic system..

Subway ( Metro ) and standard of living.

hey Dehli is nice ek se! One time! All the cherries walkin there tjooning the okes hey lighty whats cutting and all? Ish Dehli is Dehlicious!

It is extremely crowded.
Too many cars on the road.
Flyovers causing more problems than solving it.
Smaller house have become 3- Sioried.

But plenty of food and eating places. More Fast Food joints..
Culturally it has become rougher and tougher.
Hate that. Politeness vanishing.

There are more Yuppies
And there are some good cultural programs.
And many Multiplexes - Movie Theatres like the US.
Metro Train coming in-- some working. For others roads are all dug up.

I think you will not recognise most of it.

I am not a native of Delhi but in the two visits that i have had there in the past 7 years, i have noticed the quality of air that has changed a lot for the better. It is less polluted because of the introduction of CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) as fuel which has become mandatory for all public transport vehicles.

Of course the metro has come up which is an engineering marvel going through under highly populated areas like chandni chowk etc.
