I am about to move to Denver...what are my chances of a white Christmas this year?

If you have any other info that you think might help about Denver, by all means, let me know. I have 5 kids ranging from ages 5 to 15. And BTW, I am HISPANIC(mexican-american) so I wouldnt appreciate your comments on how many hispanics are there =]

50-50 chance for a white Christmas. You'll feel at home ,Denver is 31% Hispanic 21% Mexican

A white Christmas? It's hit and miss. The last couple years have been very snowy winters. About 4 years ago, it was 70 degrees on Christmas day. It's hard to say!

As far as other things you should know... goodness... what are you wondering about?? There's plenty to know.

chances for a white cristmas- who knows we did this last year. As for other info, denver is really cool, it's pretty close to ski resorts in the winter, fun attractions for the younger one's great, fun city to live in. Downtown is really cool lot's of fun stuff there too.

It's hard to say what the weather in Denver could do. You might get a major snowstorm or you could be looking at 70-degree weather day.

If you head into the mountains, it would be white for sure. Denver is surprisingly mild compared to other cities on the same lat/long. It could snow one day then hit 60+ the next. Really odd weather mainly controlled by the Front Range Mountains and local wind patterns...but that's what also ensures you'd have a snowy day in the high-country.

Denver, and Colorado in general, has a high concentration of Hispanics. Many of my good friends in Denver were Hispanic and really enjoyed the fact that local groups in Denver still paid tribute to their customs and holidays. There is considerable amount of Hispanic food choices in Denver, and I don't mean eating options. The grocery stores are packed with ethnic foods that my friends were use to purchasing to make specialty dishes.

I'm unsure of the exact distribution of Hispanic population but I think it's fairly high compared to many other cities I've lived in/been too.

Good luck!

about a 90% chance of seeing snow, but not that it will snow on xmas. in denver, there are about 30-40 % hispanic, but it varies by neighborhood. in eagle county, ther is a 100% chance of seeing snow, and there is about 60-80 % hispanic/latino

glad to help!

very high.

I spent 8 years there and I had 1 white christmas, go to the mountains for christmas and its 100%
