I have an extra 4 hours in Denver before dinner and a broadway show, where can I go to add romance to the day? The museums are nice. I'm not sure if they still run horse and carriage rides downtown. The Molly Brown house is very quaint. You may be able to have high tea at the Brown Palace, a little girly but romantic. If it's not too cold stroll down the 16th st mall and window shop or through Writer's Square. On Larimer there is a place called The Market that is a gourmet food shop/pastry/shop/coffee house where you can get amazing hot chocolate or coffee and sit in a cozy corner talking. Just a few ideas. A DOLLAR INN MOTEL I like the Denver Botanic Gardens - very beautiful any time of year to stroll through. Downtown aquarium is nice if there are not to many kids around. Stroll 16th street mall or maybe take a carriage ride. Have fun! |
