This is probably a really dumb question, but to people live on the Galapagos Islands??

do people I mean, not to. . my bad.

About 18,000 people on 5 of the islands :)

Yes people live there. I want to live there too. Report It

yeah

No question is dumb. you just get people like me that dont know the answer! But Im going to guess yes!

Im not sure. Scientists, i guess.

I actually thought it was a wildlife refuge where people can observe different species of animal and plant life but not live there. (NOT a dumb question at all!)

It's totally not a dumb question. People DO live on the Gallapagos Islands. They work for the enormous tourist industry. With all the tourists, many people are needed to work in the hotels, restaurants, etc. I don't think anyone outside the tourist industry lives on the islands.

Although there is no such thing as a dumb question, sometimes can be hilarious but understandable for lack of knowledge or information. Yes people live in the Islands, It is one of the Provinces of the Republic of Ecuador

Yes of course there are people living in the Galapagos Islands. The archipelago is made of many islands. Only one particular island is forbidden and is an animal sanctuary.

We just came back from there. There are only 3 islands that are inhabited by humans. San Cristobal, Santa Cruz & Isabela. The towns are very small and the inhabitants are Galapagos natives.
