Night Life - Can't be missed opportunity available in Quito?

I am heading to Equador/Galapagos in 2 weeks - I will have one night in Quito, then off to the boat - Big music fan - Also like to hit the streets when in a new town.

I've read your eviews and feel comfortable with checking out the city. Any - GREAT places that I'll never see again anywhere else? Also, good food spots downtown?

There are many places to see at night. If pop-rock and some electronic music is in your expectations, or a romantic dinner you must try Bar/Restaurante Swing. If exquisite cuisine, you must visit in Quito Pavarotti or Carmine Restaurant (both italian), if local ecuadorian is what you preffer, you have to visit Rincon La Ronda Restaurant.
If night life (bars and discos) is what you are looking for, look up for hotel's in the "party district" known as La Mariscal. Esxcellent hotels there like: Mercure Alameda, Hilton Colon and so forth.

Quito is great for partying but you must know where to go to actually enjoy it at its best
I could recommend club Zantafe in Gonzales Suarez Av.
Or Club Gia in Amazonas Av.
and before you go partying make sure you stop by the centro historico and have some good wine and cigars check it out at night and after head to any of this clubs, they are full of hot chicks and awesome music
