High altitude in Ecuador? |
I will travel soon, do I need to worry about high altitude in Quito and Guayaquil? What about Cuenca and Esmeralda? I wouldnt worry too much, just in Quito and Cuenca which are part of th highlands but Quayaquil and Esmeralda are practically at sea level. Check with your doctor what to take in case you need some emdicine (Coramine is great) but really, its not that bad like Cuzco or Puno in Peru. It all depends on your heart history and if you have any other condition. |

Unfortunately, there don't appear to be any airlines that fly nonstop from New York to Ecuador -- the best you can hope for is a flight with one short connection (usually an hour or so), makin...
