It's a place south of Quito. There are mainly "haciendas' or farms and it's a very quiet, peaceful place where you will breathe nature.

I recommend a bus company called Orme帽o which has great bus services (very reliable and safe) and they travel to Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile and Argentina. Great prices too.

Few Aussies live there but you can find them in the british pubs in Quito. Or try the Australian consulate in Quito.

I think you refer to Otavalo. It's the only place I can think in Ecuador where women all dress in these gorgeous white blouses. Did you go there?

It's always Spring, not too cold, not too hot, sometimes it can be cold at night. It gets as hot as 80F max, and as cold as 60F min. GREAT WEATHER!!
