Typical food in Ecuador?

Hey, paella is from Spain and guinea pigs are from all the Andes countries! Even I know that! And ceviche is typical from Peru, it's not a shrimp cocktail, it's raw marinated fish cooked in lemon! I'm asking for Ecuador's typical food.

There are lots of nice food in Ecuador but for me the best are Llapingachos (or Yapingachos?) . They are like potato dumplings filled with cheese. There are also chuchucaras (crisp pork skin) and mote (corn). Of course you can find more if you look in wikipedia but these are just 3 examples of typical food there.

piella and guinea pig its very nice

Cebiche -- well it's pronounced Se-be-che

it's a shrimp cocktail....

Rice, chicken, bananna, chicken stew...
