International shipping to Ecuador?

how would i go about sending a children's backpack and small lunchbox to Ecuador?

Not so hard! Depending on where you live, there are many wire transfer agencies that also offer shipping to latin countries, much cheaper than regular PO mail. Here it costs me about $3 per pound, min 4lbs, to ship to my family. I just finished sending a 30 lb box! You need to fill out where you are sending and who you are sending to, then declare what you are sending so it can get through customs. It is harder when you send electronics. Then you can call the person you are sending to, and tell them where and aprox when it will arrive.
The place I send from delivers to the home there, but my parents still have the address in Quito so if they miss the carrier they can go to pick it up. :)
