What are some must sees in ecuador?

i am going to visit Ecuador and i want to see three major things there. i have two already which are the andes and an island named after tourtises. if u have anything else i should go to in ecudor, plz tell me! thanks so much!

There are so many places, it depends on what type of interest u have.
There's the most difficult train of the world, crossing Los Andes in the "nariz del diablo" (nose of the devil), there's colonial Quito and its churches covered in gold, there's Galapagos, the route of the snow mountains, the route of the sun bordering most of the beaches, the amazon forest, the cuyabeno reserve one of the most diverse places on earth, there's Ba帽os de agua santa for adventure, waterfalls, bungee jumping, rappeling, kayaking, trekking....
Cuenca and it's colonial architecture, Guayaquil and it's parties and close connection with the river and antique cementeries, so many places that depend on the type of experience you are looking for.

I hope the islands that you are talking about are the Galagapos. If this is not true, it would be on my list. If it is true, how about taking an adventure trip in the Amazon jungles. I have listed a web site that describes them.

Sounds like a fun trip!!!

I would recommend adding the colonial city of Cuenca:

how does one "see" the Andes? They're huge! How about Cuzco and Machu Pichu? In Peru.

Banos is beautiful with volcano tungurahua erupting at night a must see , Otavalo for the markets, Quito well its a wonderful place with lots to do , Mindo is a sub tropical rain forest for bird watching, Atacomes for the beach, Montanita for surfing, Salinas if you like maimi style beach with large buildings , Rio Bamba for the devils nose train ride where you can ride on the roof of the train, The Galapagos island if you have the money, Well depends on how much time you have its an amazing place to visit.
