Are there currently any government conflicts in ecuador?

Are there currently any government conflicts in ecuador?

not really, we just have elected an Assembly to change the constitution, since the government has gotten a majority in the assembly there are not possibilities of conflict, all their positions will be approved, since they need simple majority, even the process has been categorized as non democratic, there is a large support from the citizens, and the voices against the project are few and mainly criticized by the same government, there is a palpable fear especially on the middle class that the government will follow the path as Venezuela, with Rafael Correa going for indefinite reelections.

There have been some movements toward more control of the government to institutions like press and many conflicts with the banks and power groups around the contry, however while Correa "enjoys" such a big indexes of support from the people, he will more likely ignore the complains.
