In Ecuador what do they call their money?

In the language

In Ecuador they now have adopted the US dollar and their currency is called like that. Some years ago it was called Sucre, in honour of Mariscal Sucre who helped in their independence from Spain.

IT WAS CALLED Sucre..BUT ITS ACTUALLY THE US DOLLAR

the u.s. dollar. but you can get way more for your money in ecuador than in the u.s. things are so dang cheap there!

They do use the US dollar in Ecuador. Most day to day items. like food are very inexpensive. However, if you want to buy something American while in Ecuador it will cost you at least twice as much. I live near Quito and have been here for almost 2 years
