Hi David, Firs is Cuenca not Cuence, I go to assume that you go to hire a taxi cab, If that the case, from the Guayaquil airport to cuenca that will cost you around $100US and the trip go to last around 4 hours, if you go to rent a car for your self that will cost you around $35 per day 60 miles include, buy a map in the airport and good luck, the road condition are very good and are rated #1 in the country.

Second option: air aerogal flight to cuenca is around $100US two way ticket.

Third: If you want to be cheap, take the bus in the terminal terrestre, as soon you get out the airport at your right hand, you walk around a minute to get there, any way you will see it coz is a huge bus terminal, the trip to cuenca last around 6 hours and will cost you $10US.
