What will be lost if intrusion in galapagos islands goes unchecked? |
What will be lost if intrusion in galapagos islands goes unchecked? If travel companies fail to understand the needs of the depleating populations of Galapagos species, then it would lead to an overall destruction of the entire island. As a result, Galapagos would fail to save the last needs of the species once visited by Charles Darwin. Galapagos is home to some of the most diversified populations of plants and animals found nowhere else on planet earth. However, if travel companies and increased tourism activities contiue to intervene the ecosystems of the animals, plants and marine life in Galapagos Islands, it would be the worst human error made on the island since the beginning of the first human settlers on the islands. Nowadays, Galapagos has lost much of it's prior beauty and that most of their natural wealth remains disturbed by intensive human activity on the islands. |
