Friends at Malmasion (edinbrugh)& want to walk to Edinburgh Castle, can anyone help with a route plz.? |
i tried looking on the net with no luck, only found driving details & not sure if this would be the same as walking route. thanks Walk up Leith Walk all the way. Walk up Leith Street to Princes Street. Walk up the North Bridge. Turn right up the High Street (Royal Mile). Castle is at top. The hotel is about 4 miles from the castle. Get a 22 bus to Princes Street. Runs every 4 minutes. Costs 拢1. Malmaison is in Tower Place in Leith. When you leave the hotel, head along the Shore and turn left at Bernard Street. Turn right at Constitution Street and then carry on straight up Leith Walk to Leith Street and Princes Street. Head along Princes Street to the Mound. Head up the Mound to the Royal Mile and turn right to follow it up to the Castle. |
