Do New Zealanders need visas to visit Egypt?

I am a NZ passport holder, but long term resident in the UK. I want to visit Sharm El Sheikh for 14 days.

Do I need a visa?

If so, can I get it on entry to Egypt? If not, can I apply in person in London. I want to take advantage of a lastminute deal which would mean leaving the end of next week.

Any idea of the cost? Thanks

As long as you have not visited Isreal in the last 5 years you should be alright to buy it on entry. If you have then visit the egyptian embassay in London and they will sort it out for you here. Although it is dearer to buy visa in england. In egypt cost is between 10 and 15 Egyptian pounds dependent on the day, They change it all the time.

If you are entering by either Sharm or Cairo, you can just as easy get your visa while you wait for your luggage to come off the plane.
