What is "living in the moment"? How do you do that?

I worry about this second and I dont bother thinking about what will happen in 5 minutes! I try to make the best out of right now, enjoy right now, have fun right now.. and hope for the best in the future but not really calculate it or plan it. Who knows what could happen? The past is gone, the future is unknown, the only certain thing is right now! Might as well make the best of it be4 its too late!

Carpe diem!

It works for me.. but I dont know if it would make anybody successful! You have to have a little planning too.. I mean.. you cant just live like that forever! I do however live like that now because it suits this time of my life best! I might change that when I get a bit older and when I have more responsibilities.

Your doing it.

It means in each moment of your life, you have to think of that job that you're doing. Like when you are eating, you should only think of the food you are eating and the taste and that it's joyable and nothinking about your argue with your boyfriend or so.... it helps you live in the moment and not regret about past and not worry about future...:)

It means not thinking about the future and just thinking about the very moment you are in right now.

I call it SPENDER IN THE GRASS , it was a poem by William Wordsworth he lved from ----1770--1850 the poem is long , but I have it . the best words of the poem are , .........Though nothing can bring back the hour of the splendour in the grass, of glory in the flowers
We grieve not , rather find strength in what remains behind
In the primal sympathy
Which having been , must ever be .

by just living in the moment

it is living without thinking or worry about future
mmmmm i dont do that indeed

It is very difficult for the human brain to live in the moment only.
The human brain keeps wandering and wondering all the time.
This does not mean that in a happy occasion we do not enjoy it, but there would always be doubts about the future, how others are thinking, how is people's judgments etc. Those who think positively can eliminate their doubts and hence feel happier.
On the contrary to humans, animals think in terms of "the here and now", that is to say they think only of the place where they are. Is it warm? Is it safe? They also think of this moment like are they hungry? Thirsty? With safe company? Their brain does not go further to wonder about the future.

breeze the air in a green area with water foundaain and rabbits jumping around u with pond full if ducks feeding it with nuts and watching the flowers and trees ....... seeing small house over thier .........
imagine......

this is living the moment

leave all worries behind & enjoy the very moment as much as I could.

have a nice day
LOL

I'm a worrying type, but I only do this when the fit hits the shan (Live the moment i mean)

it means , enjoy the moment.
a person who does this enjoys the present moment without thinking of the consequences .
this makes him feel happy for a limited time .
when he is faced with the consequences of the moment , he wakes up from his dream to face reality .
in fact , he is immature bec tomorrow comes whether he likes it or not .
this is a Greek philosophy that made the Greeks ENJOY as much as they could .
sometimes i apply this philosophy when i enjoy something innocent , natural , moral like sitting by the sea , drinking something ice cold , and eating something from the oven.
i thank God and enjoy the moment .
