How hard would it be to move to egypt ?

i live in england and im still in school, i finish my GCSE's next year and am then planning to move over to egypt when i have enough money ( probably wen im 18) i am willing to do any jobs over there inside of a hotel.
-how long would it take for me to move over there legally ?
-would it matter if im female and wanting a job ?
-how much would it be to rent an apartment in sharm el sheikh, each month ?
-how much would i get paid , average, each week?

thnx in advance.

I don't know about Sharm El Sheik but I lived in Alex and Cairo. Rent was higher in alex but the sea and cafes were wonderful. In Cairo I was living in Giza, woke up to see the pyramids every morning. I lived in a family building, all in the building were family, I felt very safe in egypt. People walk around until about 3-4 am , men and woman. I paid only 60 pounds for my flat. Thats about 55$ a month. And if you like teaching, there are many private schools that will hire you in a minute. I made 2000 pounds a month. That was in 2003, might be higher now. But anyway egypt is a wonderful country with lots to see , you'll be safe and just fine. Cheers!

when you find out let me know !!!!!!!! I just got back from a trip there and have fallen head over heals in love with the country and the people. I am looking into moving/working there myself.
