Places to visit in Frankfurt and near Hahn?

I'm going to visit Frankfurt am Main for 2 days (what do u suggest me to visit in the city) and then going back home by Hahn airport. On that day, I want to visit some places interesting near Hahn. What do u suggest me?

"Frankfurt"-Hahn is a strange combination because Hahn-airport (a former US-Airforce airfield) is about 100 km away from the city Frankfurt am Main. I don't think ther's anything interesting close to Hahn because it's so remote.

See the R枚mer, the Paulskirche, the pedestrian area for shopping, go to MainTower for a good view on the city and surrounding, visit Senckenberg Museum (maybe the best german museum on natural history) or Palmengarten or the Zoo, in the evening go to Sachsenhausen (south of the river Main).

There are several intersting cities close to Frankfurt. in the very first place Heidelberg, but also Mainz, Wiesbaden, Aschaffenburg, Worms, only to name some.

My personal recommendation: spend one day in Frankfurt, and go the other day (by train) to Heidelberg to see the world famous castle and the Old Bridge.

Hahn is remote, I have lived there twice!
Very nice scenery, but not a lot to do or see, just fields and woods.
If you have a rental car take a drive to the river Mosel, about
30 km, about 19 miles.
Enkirch, Zell, Traben-Trarbach, Bernkastel are just a view small towns to visit in a day.
Cochem is a bit further and so is Trier.
