In Frankfurt, how people celebrate Christmas and new year?

German start to celebrate Christmas on
Nov 1st to Dec 31st !

Nov 1st is the first 鈥淎dvent鈥?Children receive 鈥淎dventskalender鈥?it a calender with 22 windows which they can open every day and eat the chocolate that they find. The last will be open on Dec 22nd.

Nov 22nd to Dec 22nd is the Christmas market 鈥淲eihnachtsmarkt鈥?.
That`s fantastic, specially in N眉rnberg ( in the southern). and Frankfurt.
You could see it anyway, people who haven麓t see that before really like that. There you can drink 鈥淕l眉hwein鈥?a sort of war wein and eat 鈥淟ebkuchen鈥?or many other German Christmas specialties. Great!

On the 31 is downtown Frankfurt and also another big cities outside New Years Party with huge fireworks. Some people celebrate in their home with family or friends.
