Is it true that in Kish Island, Iran married couples should book or live in separate hotels?

Me and my husband are planning to have a vacation in Kish, Iran but someone told us that we should sleep in separate hotels? What should we do? Is there any documents needed?
Should we bring our marriage certificate with us if we go to Kish?

Here in Iran Hotels won't book passengers as boyfriends and girlfriends (Unmarried) together in the same room. Boyfriends and girlfriends should live in seperate rooms. This related to our culture and Islamic rules. So Iranian couples should have their ID cards (This isn't necessary to have marriage certificate) for booking a Hotel everywhere in Iran.
I don't know is there a special rule for foreign passengers who want to book or live in Iran hotels or not. Just having your husband and your ID cards should be enough.

Best

I haven't been to Kish, but I've been to Mashad and the hotel my husband and I were in didn't ask us for our marriage license. You should call your hotel ahead of time just to be sure. Better safe than sorry. I seriously doubt you will have to stay in separate hotels, you are married after all. make sure you take your passports though, you'll probably need them to check in.

hahaha , no way , is it a joke ?
