Is it possible to take a ship to Australia from the US?

Is it possible to take a ship to Australia from the US?

IT is .... see link.

I read a lot about that it not very cheap at ALL, quite the contrary but it should be FUN

well, i am pretty sure that they do not have actual ships that take that trip, but i am sure that you could find a way to make that happen, although it would be very expensive and you would have to make a lot of stops along the way (for supplies and such). you would have to travel around continents which would also give you many different climates. so it is not advisable to do so, but i daresay it is not impossible.

Apart from the occasional 'round the world' cruise line there are some cargo lines that take paying passengers
Don't know if they still do it but many years ago I worked for Contship UK and they took passengers.

there are cruise ships that come to australia
and also some cargo ships take paying passengers
but no ships just for travel to and from like a plane
