Is New Zealand a separate continent? Or is it connected to another one??!!?

IS NEW ZEALAND PART OF A CONTINENT???

New Zealand consists of two major islands and some smaller islands.

The two major islands are:
the North Island (114,470 sq km/44,197 sq miles) and
the South Island (150,660 sq km/58,170 sq miles).
These two major islands are separated by Cook Strait.

Stewart Island (1750 sq km/676 sq miles) is located immediately south of the South Island, and the Chatham Islands lie 800km (500 miles) to the east of Christchurch which is a city on the South Island.

new zealand is part of the contenant australia

Australia. It's a separate island though.

It's not a continent all by itself. There are seven of those and its not one of them. It's part of Australia.

New Zealand is more or less 2 large islands near Austrailia.
Austrailia is a country, but that name is also used for all of the islands in that area as a continent name.

New Zealand is a country made up of 2 islands. its part of australasia or oceania continent, i'm not sure which is the correct name now.

Ha ha I was just having this exact same discussion with my boyf.

He said NZ was part of Oz, I said not.

It's a different country, but same continent. Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

It is two islands (main ones) and not part of any continent.

australasia
oceania

Every country is part of a continent! A continent is the countries on a continental plate. basically the land under where you walk is split up in to massive "plates" of land and each continent is a seperate "plate" therefore every country is on top of a plate and thus part of a continent.
