Please take no offence to this question...?

do austrailian people seriously always say "mate" after every sentence???

hahahah its tru its true but were not all like americans think. we dont have kangaroos jumping around our back yard. for some reason everyone gets the idea of aussies. :) where generally down to earth kind of ppl

No, no more than the british do. Most Australians hardly ever say mate.

No offence taken I assure you mate! Yes, lots of aussies say mate, though Id say rarely at the end of every sentence, I for one dont! But we do tend to use a lot of slang. G'day and avagoodweekend!

nah mate

No mate we don't.

First off, this is the "Austrian" answer column, not "Australian". Two different countries separated by 10,000 miles of ocean. Secondly, if you ask that question, you haven't been in contact with many people from other cultures, so I would suggest you get a few books or websites that can inform you before you travel.

Well, Austrian people certainly don't.

Perhaps you should post this question in AUSTRALIA and not in AUSTRIA!!!!!

and the answer is NO! we do not...mate ;-)
