What could probably happen to a pregnant woman that smokes? |
Is it lethal to be pregnant and smoke cigarettes? low birth weight, CANCER, anemia, birth defects, CANCER, COPD, Emphesema, miscarriage, CANCER, chronic bronchitis, you get the picture You are putting the baby at risk first and foremost. The effect on you is no more different to what it is normally. Nothing much will happen to the pregnant woman, but the baby is going to have some pretty serious health issues. The baby will have lung development problems...more than likely be born with acute asthma, potentially heart problems, impaired speech or difficulty in learning. Cigarettes have lethal chemicals in them which does harm the baby!!!! (which is why there are warnings on the labels). it's not good for the baby |
