Do I need a Visa to go to Austria if I hold a U.S. permanent resident card? If you have a valid US passport, then probably not if you're only intending to stay for 90 days or less. Otherwise, yes. Citizens of the United States in possession of a valid U.S.-passport, are not required to obtain a visa for Austria for a period of up to three months if traveling as a tourist. If you are a resident of the U.S. but do not hold U.S. citizenship, a visa may be required. You should contact the responsible Austrian Embassy or Consulate in your area.
