What caribbean island I ought to vacation in this year?

Go to St Maarten/St Martin. They have fabulous beaches, casinos, bars, clubs, great food. It's a fun island and you can take a ferry over to some of the other beautiful islands that are close by. St Barths or Anguilla.

Depends what you want to do. Negril, Jamaica is party central/rest of Jamaica is good too. Caymans is "little America". Dominican Republic is cheaper and has many nice resorts. Each island has it's own flavor and with no details, it's impossible to answer which would be best for you.
