Can you recommend a vacation spot for me?

i want to go somewhere really warm and beautiful for my birthday. it's not until april, so i have some time to think about it, but i need to start.

i'm thinking florida or the caribbean, because i've never been. so can you recommend some beautiful beaches or fun places to go? i like beaches that look like this:

bright blue water, white sand...that is just ultimate in luxury to me. so are there any you can recommend for me?

Blue Bay Hotel & Resort ( adults only) Playa Dorada - Puerto Plata Dominican Republic. Nice beach (big) very nice hotel,
good restaurant(s) disco "Mangu" nearby, Ocean World, Isabella de Torre ( cable car) and so much more to discover.
